The Greek Front of Resistance and Solidarity for Palestine “Ghassan Kanafani”, strongly condemns the concession of Palestinian land to the Zionists by the Jerusalem Patriarchate. As a result of this action, there has been an uprising of the Arab-Christian communities in occupied Palestinian land and Jordan.

The Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III is entirely at fault for the sell-off of the Patriarchate’s property, which rightfully belongs to the Palestinian people, and thus torches the long-lasting Greek-Palestinian friendship. We, as Greek citizens, stand against the Greek Patriarch Theophilos III and demand his immediate deposition. Meanwhile, we issue a world-wide call for resistance in any attempt of seizure of Palestinian lands by the Zionists, no matter which way it is carried out.

Given the chance, we salute the Christian Orthodox Palestinians who strongly and persistently resist the Zionist occupation.
